About Hamilton

Hamilton is the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, the musical brings Hamilton’s life and legacy to the stage in a contemporary form.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, telling “the story of America then, as told by America now”. Choreography is by Andy Blankenbuehler, with musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old, and children under 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Leslie Odom, Jr. will not appear at performances on 27 to 29 July.
