About Hamilton

Hamilton is at 79 Victoria Street, London. The musical tells the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, telling the story of America then as told by America now. Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, and is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Age guidance: Suitable for ages 10+. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old.

Late entry and refunds: Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.

Relaxed Performance: The Hamilton performance on Wednesday 29 April 2026 will be a Relaxed Performance for people with autism, learning disabilities, sensory and communication needs, or for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. Sound and lighting will be adjusted, and normal rules of theatregoing, such as being quiet and sitting still, do not apply. This performance starts at 6.30pm.
