The Hunger Games On Stage

About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre brings Suzanne Collins’ story to London in 2025, in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue. This is the first theatre adaptation of The Hunger Games, based on the internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture.

Katniss Everdeen’s journey is staged by an award-winning creative team, with playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster leading the production. The story follows her as she defies the odds in a production centred on courage, hope and human spirit.

The production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe, together with depictions of murder and manslaughter and references to death, grief and guilt.

Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 07 mins; interval: 20 mins; Act 2: 1 hour 08 mins.
