Oh, Mary!

About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre is a dark comedy by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton. Set in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, it follows Mary Todd Lincoln in an 80-minute one-act play that explores unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires through a sharply comic lens.

The production received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play and Best Direction of a Play. The New York Times described it as “one of the best comedies in years”.

Mason Alexander Park is listed in the cast, alongside Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher and Giles Terera as Mary’s Husband.
