The Truth

About The Truth

The Truth at Theatre Royal Haymarket is an Olivier-nominated comedy by Oscar-winning writer Florian Zeller. It follows a world where trust is fragile, loyalty is negotiable and everyone seems to have something to hide, as the lies people tell each other and themselves begin to unravel.

Direct from a sold-out West End run, the production returns to London for 12 weeks only from July 2027. It is described as a sharp-witted and cleverly constructed evening of theatre, and is back by demand with a cast that includes Stephen Mangan, Ardal O’Hanlon, Sarah Hadland and Janie Dee.

The play has been praised in source material as a smart comedy and a tightly built piece of theatre, making it a strong choice for audiences looking for a contemporary play with a clear comic edge.

Key facts: Running time 90 minutes, with no interval. Playing at Theatre Royal Haymarket from July 2027 for 12 weeks only.
