The Tiger Who Came To Tea at the Haymarket is a musical play adapted and directed by David Wood, based on Judith Kerr’s book. Returning to the West End for Summer 2026, it brings the familiar teatime story to the stage in a family show format.
When Sophie and her mummy sit down to tea, the doorbell rings and they are greeted by a big, stripy tiger. The production follows the tea-guzzling tiger through a story filled with magic, sing-along songs and clumsy chaos, alongside the simple setup of the original picture book.
Based on Britain’s best-loved picture book and Olivier Award nominated, the show presents the classic tale of teatime mayhem for the stage.
Suitable for ages: 3+. Babes in arms under 18 months, sitting on an adult lap, do not need a ticket.
Ticketing: All other patrons must have a valid ticket. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
