The Standard Of Living

About The Standard of Living

The Standard of Living at Theatre Royal Haymarket is a new world-premiere play by James Graham. It opens in the West End on 21 September for a strictly limited 12-week season.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the play follows rebel economist and Bloomsbury Group member John Maynard Keynes as he moves between Whitehall and a circle of artists, writers and lovers. It looks at Keynes's question of what makes a good life, with music, dance, desire and debate running through the production.
