Little Dancer at Theatre Royal Haymarket is a new musical about Marie van Goethem, the fourteen-year-old dancer immortalised by Edgar Degas. It follows a girl with impossible dreams and the artist who captured her in a pose that has stood for more than a century.
Set in Belle Époque Paris, the story looks at art, ambition and the question of whether we shape our destiny or it shapes us. It is created by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, and directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman.
Key fact: Little Dancer runs at Theatre Royal Haymarket for six weeks only from February 2027, prior to a world tour.
Refunds: No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
