About Jesus Christ Superstar
Jesus Christ Superstar at Theatre Royal Drury Lane is the award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production, extended to the West End after record-breaking demand for its summer season at The London Palladium.
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical follows the last days of Jesus Christ through the eyes of Judas. The score draws on the rock roots that defined a generation and includes ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and the title number ‘Superstar’.
The production is directed by Tim Sheader, with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie and design by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Tom Scutt.
