Complete waste of money? One act one ska song, The Dualers sung covers and the pub was full of drunk idiots.   People were just walking in when we had paid.  Abominable. 

Review of The All Day/Night Ska & Reggae BBQ Party!

It wasn't anything like what was advertised. Very disappointed. 

We ended up enjoying the event but there were quite a few things that could have been better.It was advertised as from 1pn to 1am but the music didn't start until quite late. There was no compare ( D.J hat speaks and gets the crowd going) also no body could tell us what time The Duelers were on at....so we got there early just in case, hoping to have lunch at at
 1 30pm- but we had to wait until 4pm before any BBQ food was ready....Some of our friends left because of this...even though as compensation the management ended up not charging for the food as a goodwill gesture...but they were also understaffed in the bar, so had to wait too long for drinks as well and The Duelers finally played nearer to 9pm !  Saying this,  they were brilliant abd it was a really lovely and friendly crowd and I would definitely go again , but it needed to be better organised

A really disappointing event. Apparently there were issues with the bands booked but none of this was communicated until we queried why 8 hours after the start we were still listening to background music. I was told we were ungrateful because they had given us some free food instead. When one girl tried to play she gave up after 1 song saying 'give me a break' then the Dualers came on and played covers to a backing track.  This was a waste of time, money, organisation, booking hotels and traveling across the country. Won't use skiddle or go to the white lion again. 

Possibly one of the worst organised events I've been too.
Supposed to be an all dater with about 5 bands plus DJ's 
Only one band the dualers who were late on!! 
Felt sorry for people who got there early, they were stuck in a lifeless pub for hours waiting for one band!! 

Awful. 
Was supposed to be live music , there was nothing until the Duelers turned up and they didn't go on until 9.30pm despite being told they would go on at 8pm. We were told they were held up but for an hour and a half they were there but doing nothing.
The pub ran out of food and there was not enough bar staff. We felt like we'd been duped- total waste of a day. Will never attend another event .
