The Drop Jonnies keep it moving along.
Since their formation in 2023, The Drop Jonnies have been unapologetic in
making the sort of music they want to hear: raw, energetic, and honest.
Driven by the sharp guitar influence of the Libertines and Cribs, the band
unites pop hooks with a gritty and unfiltered lyrical edge. After their
December single ‘Green Chick’ secured airtime on Craig Charles’ BBC
Radio 6 Music show, the four-piece are keen to reach a higher critical
acclaim with their upcoming track ‘Marie’
. Recorded at Liverpool’s Motor
Museum, the single marks a shift towards more mature and reflective
songwriting, exploring the realities of navigating the music industry as an
outsider.
Beyond the studio, The Drop Jonnies thrive on stage. Fiercely unpredictable,
energetic and eminently danceable, their live sets draw growing crowds across
the UK. From selling out Liverpool’s 300-capacity venue District to packing out
the dive bars of London, their performances offer an insight into the refreshing
chemistry and passion shared by members Ed, Ollie, Max, and Tom. At its core,
The Drop Jonnies are a tight-knit event, driven by four lifelong music lovers
determined to make their mark on the scene.
