

Cabaret at London’s Playhouse Theatre, transformed into the Kit Kat Club, is a musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. This current West End production includes the songs Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number Cabaret.
The production has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival. It is one of the most successful musicals of all time.
The show combines a well-known score with the theatre’s transformation into the Kit Kat Club, creating a distinctive setting for the story.
Running time: Approx. 2hrs 45mins, including interval. Act 1: 1 hour 40 minutes. Act 2: 45 minutes.
The venue opens 75 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive 30 minutes before curtain up. For 14:00 matinee performances, the venue opens at 12:45; for 19:00 evening performances, it opens at 18:15.
Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. Once the show begins, readmission to the auditorium cannot be guaranteed if you need to leave your seat for any reason, and there may be a wait of up to 30 minutes before you are allowed back. If you expect to need to leave the auditorium during the performance, speak to a member of staff before the show begins.
