About Cabaret

Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club is a London production staged through the transformation of the Playhouse Theatre on Northumberland Avenue. Set in a time when the world is changing, it places the action inside the Berlin-inspired Kit Kat Club, where the story of Cabaret is presented with songs including Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number Cabaret.

This production has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival. It is based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff.

The setting and score make this a strong choice if you want a major West End musical with a clear identity and award-winning credentials.

Running time: approximately 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Act 1: 1 hour 40 minutes. Act 2: 45 minutes.

Before you book

The venue opens 75 minutes before the start time. Please arrive 30 minutes before the performance begins. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval.

Once the show has started, readmission to the auditorium cannot be guaranteed if you leave your seat, and there may be a wait of up to 30 minutes before you are allowed back in. If you may need to leave during the performance, please speak to a member of staff before the show begins.

For matinee performances, the venue opens at 12:45 for 14:00 shows. For evening performances, it opens at 18:15 for 19:00 shows. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
