About Room on the Broom (2026)
Room on the Broom (2026) at the Lyric Theatre, London is Tall Stories’ stage adaptation of the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The story follows the witch and her cat as they travel on their broomstick and pick up a dog, a green bird and a frog, before the broom snaps in two and a hungry dragon appears.
It is an Olivier Award-nominated production for audiences aged 3 and up, created by Tall Stories. The show is designed as a lively piece of children’s theatre with storytelling, songs and puppetry at its centre.
Running time: 60 minutes. Season dates: 27th November 2026 to 3rd January 2027.

Suitable for audiences aged 3 and up. No refunds or cancellations after booking. Access performances are available on Friday 11th December 2026 at 1.30pm with BSL, and on Tuesday 1st December 2026 at 1.30pm with audio description; the audio described performance includes a Touch Tour at 12.30pm.
