About Room on the Broom (2026)

Room on the Broom (2026) is a Tall Stories production at the Lyric Theatre, London, based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It follows the witch and her cat as they travel on a broomstick and pick up a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a frantic frog, before the broom snaps in two just as a hungry dragon appears.

This Olivier Award-nominated show is for audiences aged 3 and up. Tall Stories describe it as imaginative storytelling theatre, and the production uses songs, puppetry and animated performances to bring the story to the stage.

The show runs from 27th November 2026 to 3rd January 2027.
