About Room on the Broom (2026)
Room on the Broom (2026) at the Lyric Theatre is a Tall Stories production based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The show follows the witch and her cat as they travel on a broomstick and pick up a dog, a green bird and a frog, before the broom snaps in two as a hungry dragon appears.
The production is an Olivier Award-nominated adaptation from Tall Stories, the company behind imaginative storytelling theatre. It brings the much-loved picture book to the stage for audiences aged 3 and up.
