About Room on the Broom (2026)
Room on the Broom (2026) at the Lyric Theatre, London is Tall Stories’ stage adaptation of the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The story follows the witch and her cat as they travel on their broomstick and pick up a dog, a green bird and a frog along the way.
When the broom snaps in two and a hungry dragon appears, the question is whether there will be room for the witch and her four passengers. The production is described as an Olivier Award-nominated show and is designed for audiences aged 3 and up.
The show runs from 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.
