Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical, reimagined for the stage by director Julie Taymor. The production adapts the beloved film into a stage show built around Simba’s journey from cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.
The show combines colour, effects and music in a theatrical staging that brings the story to the stage in a new form. It remains one of Disney’s best-known titles, with the familiar characters and narrative presented as a full musical production.
For audiences looking for a large-scale family theatre experience in central London, The Lion King offers a well-known story, recognisable music and a staged version of the film’s journey through the Pridelands.
