About Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is the stage adaptation of Disney’s film, reimagined by director Julie Taymor. The show follows Simba’s journey from cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The production brings the story to the stage with vivid visual design, staged effects and music, making it a strong choice if you are looking for a large-scale musical with a clear story at its centre.

It is an internationally celebrated musical, and its appeal lies in the combination of familiar Disney storytelling and theatre production values.
