Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney's internationally celebrated musical, reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor. The production takes the story of Simba, from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands, and brings it to the stage as a musical adaptation of the film.

Key facts: Running time 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performances are Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.
Age guidance: Children under 3 are not permitted to enter the Lyceum Theatre. The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. Everyone entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
Arrival and entry: The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Arrive at least 45 minutes before the show for Grand Circle standing positions, 60 minutes before for Stalls and Boxes E and K, and 75 minutes before for Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes prior to the start time. Latecomers may need to wait before being seated and could miss part of the performance.
Tickets and policies: You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
