About Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical, reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor. Based on Disney’s beloved film, it brings Simba’s journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands to the stage.

The production combines colourful staging, striking effects and music in a large-scale theatre experience. It is designed around the story, with the visual style and score working together to tell Simba’s epic adventure.

Its long-running popularity and established reputation make it a strong choice for theatre-goers looking for a major West End musical with a clear story and well-known source material.
