Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney's internationally celebrated musical, based on the beloved film. It tells the story of Simba's journey from cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

Directed by Julie Taymor, the production brings the story to the stage with colour, effects and music, making it a clear option for theatre-goers looking for one of Disney's best-known stage adaptations.

Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performance times: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm; Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 3 are not permitted into the Lyceum Theatre. The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance. The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show begins. Arrival guidance varies by seating area: Grand Circle and standing positions, 45 minutes before start time; Stalls and Boxes E and K, 60 minutes before; Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G, 75 minutes before.

After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
