About

About Disney's The Lion King

Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is the internationally celebrated musical based on Disney's beloved film. Reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, it brings Simba's journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands to the stage.

The production combines music, colours and staging to tell the story in a theatre setting. It remains one of Disney's best-known stage shows, with a focus on the emotional story at its centre and a visual style shaped by the original film's world.

Key facts: Running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval. Performances are Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.
