The people behind Shorditch's disco plub Horse + Groom are opening the doors to their latest venue, The Horatia. Baptised after the love child of Lady Hamilton + Vice Admiral Nelson, this is a beautiful 400 capacity traditional London boozer with a bumper 2am licence for plenty of decadence and debauchery. The importance given to quality of drinks is absolute and in addition to finest British ales and continental brews a delicious range of world wines and spirits list will be available to make any Holloway resident proud of calling The Horatia their local. Customers will be able to munch on mouth-watering homemade British classics such as Scotch eggs, pies, mustard + sage sausage rolls, pies as well as a range of artisan pizzas. The sound system has been sourced from the old Cross venue and guest wise in February we have a fantastic array of free nights with guest including James Priestley (Secretsundaze), Disco Bloodbath’s Damon Martin, Johnny Hiller (Lasermagnetic) alongside some very exciting residencies in the pipeline . For the opening weekend’s celebrations alone Disco legends Faze Action will be playing live on the Fri launch party, The Mighty Trojan Sound system will be doing a do on the Saturday and Sunday Claremount party see’s The Idjut Boys, Sean P and many more...
