About

This will be a great night of classic and more psychedelic rock with some Japanese 80's music in-between. We have Yutaro Ogida across from Japan alongside H2P, a live band featuring Shamisen master Hibiki Ichikawa and the guitarist with "magic fingers", Hide Takamoto. We also have the talented DJ Mika playing some lovely Japanese sentimental tracks from the 80's!

Yutaro Ogida

Japanese singer-songwriter and guitarist, Yutaro Ogida was born in Tokyo. He spent his early childhood in New York and attended high

school in London where he started playing guitar. After going back to Japan in the 1990's, he joined Wouassi Vincent's Afrorock band, The Roots Band. Apart from his solo activities, he is also known for his participation in the Pink Floyd tribute band "Primordial God Mother" with Takehiko "shake" Kogure and others, and Takashi O'hashi & The Sound Torus, a solo band by Takashi Ohashi (Holy Hunger II).

H2P

Shamisen master Hibiki Ichikawa and guitar virtuoso Hide Takamoto join with drummer Paul for a live show which goes from traditional Japanese and pushes out to stranger time signatures and a journey of sound.

DJ Mika

Spinning a heartwarming selection of Japanese retro sounds from the '80s to '00s, DJ Mika brings nostalgia, emotion, and joy to the dancefloor.

Her style blends Showa-era pop, city pop, and timeless J-POP classics — perfect for anyone longing for the golden days of Japanese music.
