About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. It transfers to the West End this autumn following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, and is based on the classic cult film.

The story follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the plan to go spectacularly wrong. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.

Critically acclaimed principals Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward return for the West End production.

Key facts: The production opens on 15 September, with previews from 30 August. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre is on 6 May 2026.

Before you book

Age guidance: 13+. Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sit in seats next to each other.

This production includes scenes of a sexual nature, and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis. It also contains strobe effects and loud sound effects, including gunshots.

Your e-ticket will only be emailed to you after you complete the online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance start time. If you cannot confirm that there is no reason why you or a member of your party cannot attend, you will be given details on how to exchange, and exchange requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time. No exchanges or refunds are available.
