The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers, transferring to the West End after a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Based on the classic cult film, the show follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they plan to stage the biggest flop in theatre history, only for it to backfire spectacularly. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.

Key facts: The production opens on 15 September, with previews from 30 August. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre is on 6 May 2026.

Before you book

Age guidance: 13+.
Children: Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated next to them.
Content and effects: Includes scenes of a sexual nature, references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots.

Tickets: Your e-ticket will only be emailed after you complete the online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance start time. If you cannot confirm that no-one in your party has a reason they cannot attend, you will be given exchange details; exchange requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time.
Refunds: No exchanges or refunds.
