About From The Heart

From The Heart at the Garrick Theatre is Don Black’s personal tribute to the New York cabaret scene that has shaped his career. Following a sell-out run, the Oscar-winning lyricist returns to the West End with this expanded production, which brings together new songs, well-known favourites and the stories behind them.

The show has been refined and expanded following its acclaimed concert performances in 2025 and plays a strictly limited run of 15 performances this October. It stars Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe and internationally celebrated performer Caroline O’Connor, with further cast to be announced. Each performance also features a surprise special guest.

The evening includes new songs written with Gary Barlow, Natasha Bedingfield, David Arnold, Debbie Wiseman and Mike Batt, before ending with a medley of Don Black songs including Born Free, Ben, Love Changes Everything, With One Look, To Sir With Love and As If We Never Said Goodbye, alongside a salute to his James Bond work.

Running time: 80 minutes, no interval.
