It's been a couple years since Glass Frogs gigged in London so we're super excited to be making our way down to play a free gig at the Finsbury ! There'll be a support from the enchanting Nico Paul and others :) Get yourself a ticket and tell your friends !!!!!!!
In the crucible of creeping civilisational collapse, Glass Frogs combine the hopelessness of the times with the abnormalities of their minds to forge groovy tunes to shake ass to They’re known for an eclectic repertoire and dynamic performances, so if you have a hankering for eccentrically decorated rage played by five purple jacks missing their boxes then thank goodness your reading this advertisement.
Nico Paul displays grounded yet poetic lyricism combined with intricate instrumentation and rich vocal harmony. Attending a live show consists of a spectrum of small, vulnerable moments, as if eavesdropping on a songwriter rehearsing in their own room, contrasted with loud, atmospheric explorations that may be better suited for church halls, or the deep and wide valleys of the Rocky Mountains. His debut EP “What is Lifted”, exemplifies this, ranging from cathartic chamber pop to desolate, introspective folk dissecting the intimate relationship between grand fantasy and stark reality, and echoing the likes of Leonard Cohen, Weyes Blood, Sufjan Stevens, Feist.
