Went to The Dance Hall (Archway Tavern's secret little dance space round the back, it seems) for Devious D's Bday Bash on 24th Jan 2026. My night was immediately ruined by the racist, tall, bald-headed eastern european security man following me into the toilets and banging on the cubicle door telling me I can't use it because "I know wagwarn my bro" (implying I was using/doing drugs?) and that I have to use the urinal.

I repeatedly asked what he was going on about, why he's being weird with me or why I can't use the cubicle and he just kept talking over me, laughing and acting like he's some genius. I went back into the cubicle (the other one this time, which I hadnt used originally because the one I originally went into became free first) and he comes banging on the door saying "not in my toilets!!"? I had literally just arrived at the venue after a 40 minute journey and had just been searched upon entry, I don't appear under the influence and haven't caused any trouble but you're assuming I'm up to no good!? So I'm just not allowed to use the toilet that was put there for a reason?

Considering it was a Jungle event which is heavily influenced by black/jamaican culture, it's genuinely disgraceful being stereotyped like that as a jamaican man myself. To make it worse he's using Jamaican lingo to me when doing it! ("I know wagwarn my bro!") 😂

It's interesting that when I walked into the toilets there were 2 white men in the 2 cubicles, who finished as I came in, but when I walk in the security guard wants to start banging on the doors? Complete joke and he should be ashamed of himself. He kept just laughing/smiling the whole time as if it was funny or some kind of joke so I gave him a bit of verbal outside before leaving (nothing foul, just told him that it's poor behaviour as a security, that im not "his bro" and that he's ruined my night - his response was that I'm too soft😂 he had no regard for the situation whatsoever). Imagine if I had IBS or some form of anxiety? To be met with this guy banging on the door?

Well done for ruining my night as someone that's been raving for about 12 years and never had that happen to them.

Now this one....was a vibe! Off the hook right tge way through til the lights came on and the cleaners came in! Wicked wicked night ...roll on the next Devious Party ?'?🏼
