The Castle Aldgate

the kind of bar everyone wishes they could call their local and it is completely random; you could find yourself drinking gin from a shoe while waving your body around to some seriously heads down, no nonsense underground house music, it’s that kind of place. That isn't to say you can't have a decent conversation if that is what you fancy at 3am as there are some comfy old sofas around which are good for a bit of a chinwag and we’ve have had our share of deep and not-so-meaningful waffles on the sofas, it’s a bar where the decor is warm and friendly with lots of rough wood and comfy chairs and plenty of people, some of whom almost looked like they were kicking back in their living room while the soap dodgers and ghetto fabulous punters rub shoulders, one girl even looked like she was being eaten alive by a sofa, it’s a great mix of clientele, consisting of weird and wonderful characters socialising in a truly harmonious melange of revelry.
