Despite a somewhat sp**** crowd for such a stonking line-up and a good charity cause, the feel-good factor was thick in the air of The Camp basement. 

Molotov Jukebox, normally used to playing to clamouring crowds in heaving sweatboxes in Brazil, began gamely, trying to incite the crowd to let loose with their pumping, raucous GypStep. It didn't take long before every limb in the place was akimbo. Every member of the band is a skilled musician (including trumpet/trombonist, electric violin & accordion), but its rare to see such a strong bond on stage. They love their music, they love performing, they love each other, and that is clear from the celebratory way they play. The set is littered with raw anecdotes from the foul-mouthed and fabulous Natalia Tena, whose sultry voice powers through the thick, modern gypsy sound they have perfected. The songs are sex-charged and fierce, oom-pah and out-there; from their new single Laid to Rest to the badass soul ripper Voodoo, you're not only invited to the party, you're the Guest of Honour. And they love you. 

With slick licks from violinist Sam Apley, hopping bass from Tom Wilson and fizzing guitar from the fingers of Adam Burke, this is a band whose individual parts make up for pretty awesome sum. The whole experience (and it is an experience) will have you on your sex-foot in no time.

Following this riot was Mr Hudson's DJ set - unabashedly grimey, surging dubstep which, if the crowd was bigger, would have absolutely killed it. Perfectly placed after Molotov's hopping rhythms, Hudson brought you back to the concrete floor with crashing gravity, where all you could do was wade through the beats. Wicked.
