The Alma N1

The Alma N1 is situated in Newington Green, close to both Islington and Stoke Newington. The pub is divided in two sections with one side for table service dining and the other for more casual dining and drinking. The Pub has a comfortably homely feel with mismatched furniture, red & aubergine walls, massive leather sofas, Maori art, fireplace and church candles. It is run by Kirsty Valentine the General Manager, who prides herself on quality not quantity. The food is best described as home style cooking, fresh and seasonal with modern British influences. The menu changes regulary and everything is prepared in their huge kitchen, right down to the bread, chutneys, ice creams & sloe gin for the bar.
