Star & Garter located in Putney, South West London. The impressive venue dates back to 18oo’s and is a renowned local landmark along the bank of the River Thames. The building has undergone major renovation internally and externally, to restore its original features and make way for a wine bar for the new millennium. With its riverside location and balcony overlooking the river, the Star & Garter is the perfect venue to hold all stylish events. You can enjoy a fresh glass of wine with friends and colleagues, take your drinks outside and enjoy them by the River or reserve an area in the bar to enjoy the ‘hot summer’ nights in style. Nearest tube station is Putney Bridge on the District line! Once you leave the station walk straight out and walk along Ranelagh Gardens this will take you right up to Putney Bridge Rd. You will turn left onto Putney Bridge Rd and walk across the bridge. Once you reach the other side turn right into Lower Richmond Rd at the traffic lights and the Star & Garter is about 100m down on the right hand side. It’s about an 8min walk from Putney Bridge tube Station. You can also use East Putney tube station. Once you leave the station turn left into Upper Richmond rd, walk for about 5min, when you reach Putney Bridge High St turn right and walk about 10 min until you reach Lower Richmond Rd. Turn left and Star & Garter will be on your left side. You can also use the 93 bus from the top of Upper Richmond rd. [b]Please use the entrance facing the River Thames[b]
