Landless + Brigid Mae Power

Landless + Brigid Mae Power come together for a special co-headline show at St John on Bethnal Green, London, on Friday 16 October.

Dublin quartet Landless bring their dark, patient and spellbinding vocal harmonies, performing centuries-old ballads alongside more recently penned folk songs. Joining them is acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Brigid Mae Power, whose haunting vocals and deeply personal songwriting draw on folk, country and psychedelia.

Landless are Lily Power, Méabh Meir, Ruth Clinton and Sinéad Lynch. Singing together since 2013, the quartet emerged from Dublin's traditional singing and Sacred Harp communities, developing a distinctive sound that is sometimes entirely unaccompanied, and at other times enriched by subtle instrumentation.
Their second album Lúireach, produced by John 'Spud' Murphy (Lankum, ØXN), follows their acclaimed 2018 debut Bleaching Bones. Drawing on songs spanning centuries, the record explores themes of melancholy, love, death and mystery, with contributions from Lankum's Cormac MacDiarmada and others.
Sharing the bill, Brigid Mae Power has established herself as one of Ireland's most distinctive contemporary folk voices, blending traditional influences with intimate, atmospheric songwriting and an unmistakable vocal style.

Together, the two acts offer an evening of Irish folk music that moves between tradition and experimentation, bringing ancient songs and contemporary storytelling into the same space.
