Love's Labours Lost 26 is a flamenco-inspired production of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost. Set in Navarre, it follows four women on a diplomatic mission as the King and his lords find their vows tested by love, desire and wit.
Directed by Indiana Lown-Collins in her Globe Theatre directing debut, the production draws on the warmth and vibrancy of her rural Spanish roots. It brings the comedy into a world of rhythm and romantic tension, where joy and revelry sit alongside longing, grief and melancholy.
Rarely staged, this version presents Love’s Labour’s Lost as a raw, human comedy about connection and unresolved love.
Key facts: flamenco-inspired Shakespeare comedy; rare staging; Globe Theatre directing debut for Indiana Lown-Collins.
