Love's Labours Lost 26 presents Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost in a flamenco-inspired production. The story follows four women who arrive in Navarre on a diplomatic mission, setting off a clash of love, desire and wit as the King and his lords find their vows tested.

In her Globe Theatre directing debut, Associate Artist Indiana Lown-Collins brings a new reading of the comedy shaped by the warmth and vibrancy of her rural Spanish roots. Her background includes work as a former Globe Resident Artist, a JMK Award win for The Solid Life of Sugar Water, and credits at the Orange Tree Theatre.

Rarely staged, the play combines rhythm, fiery romantic tension, joy and revelry with longing, grief and melancholy. It is presented here as a raw, human comedy centred on connection and on love that is left unresolved.
