About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe takes you inside the theatre as part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. The visit combines a guided tour with time in the new walk-through exhibition space, where you can explore over 400 years of history through sights, sounds and seasonal displays.

Expert Guides tell the story of the original 1599 theatre and its return in the 1990s, including how it survived plague, fire and political oppression. The tour also covers the theatre’s craftsmanship and the wooden ‘O’ itself, while interactive costumes and props give you a chance to explore the stage side of the experience.

All tours are in English and suitable for all ages, with information sheets available in a number of languages.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
