About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe takes you inside the Globe Theatre and the venue’s brand-new walk-through exhibition space as part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. The experience explores Shakespeare’s London through sights, sounds and more than 400 years of history.

You can see seasonally curated displays from some of the theatre’s most iconic shows, and try out interactive costumes and props. The tour also brings the story of the original 1599 theatre to life, including how it survived plague, fire and political oppression before being rebuilt in the 1990s.

Expert guides lead you through the theatre itself and explain the craftsmanship of the wooden ‘O’. Information sheets are available in a number of languages, and the tour is suitable for all ages.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. Language: English.
