About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe takes visitors into Shakespeare’s London through Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. The experience combines a guided tour with time in the new walk-through exhibition space, where you can explore over 400 years of history through sights, sounds and curated displays.

Inside the exhibition, there are interactive costumes and props, alongside displays that revisit some of the venue’s most iconic shows. The tour then moves into the Globe Theatre itself, where expert guides explain the story of the wooden ‘O’ and how the original 1599 theatre survived plague, fire and political oppression before being rebuilt in the 1990s.

The tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50-minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
