Globe Theatre Tours 2026

About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe combines a guided tour of the Globe Theatre with time in the exhibition space. The experience is designed to take visitors back to Shakespeare’s London, with a focus on the theatre’s history, stagecraft and 400 years of stories.

During the tour, expert Guides bring the history of the iconic wooden ‘O’ to life, while the walk-through exhibition space includes seasonally curated displays, interactive costumes and props, and material on some of the Globe’s most notable shows. The tour also looks at the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its rebuilding in the 1990s.

All tours are in English and are suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. This is an open-air theatre tour, and tours go ahead in all conditions.
