About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit to the theatre with time in a brand-new walk-through exhibition space focused on Shakespeare’s London and more than 400 years of history.

Seasonally curated displays, sights and sounds from Shakespeare’s London, and interactive costumes and props give visitors a clear look at stagecraft and the world behind the performances.

Inside the Globe Theatre itself, expert Guides расскаile the story of the wooden ‘O’, from the original 1599 theatre through plague, fire and political oppression, to its return in the 1990s.

Duration: approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

Before you book

All tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. The Globe is an open-air theatre, and tours go ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather.
