About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, combining a guided tour of the theatre with time in the exhibition space. It is designed to show visitors the Globe Theatre itself, along with the story of Shakespeare’s London.

The experience includes a brand-new walk-through exhibition space with sights, sounds and stories from over 400 years of history. Seasonal displays revisit some of the theatre’s productions, and interactive costumes and props give visitors the chance to try on stagecraft for themselves.

Expert Guides lead the tour inside the Globe Theatre and расскаise the history of the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s. Tours are in English and suitable for all ages.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50-minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. Information sheets are available in a number of languages.

All ages are welcome. Tours are in English. This is an open-air theatre, and tours go ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather.
