Globe Theatre Tours 2026

About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, giving you a guided look inside the Globe Theatre and its exhibition space. The experience is designed to bring Shakespeare’s London into focus, with an expert Guide leading the tour through the theatre itself.

Alongside the tour, the brand-new walk-through exhibition space explores over 400 years of history through sights, sounds and displays. Seasonal exhibits revisit some of the venue’s most notable productions, while interactive costumes and props offer a chance to explore the theatre from a performer’s point of view.

The tour also covers the story of the original 1599 theatre, including its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s as part of one man’s vision.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. All tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages.
