About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is a guided visit and exhibition experience that explores Shakespeare’s London, the history of the theatre, and the craft of stage production. The experience includes a new walk-through exhibition space and access to the Globe Theatre itself.

Visitors can move through more than 400 years of history, with seasonally curated displays, interactive costumes and props, and expert Guides sharing the story of the theatre’s original 1599 build and its 1990s reconstruction. The tour also covers how the theatre survived plague, fire and political oppression.

The experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

Before you book

All tours are in English and are suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. Shakespeare’s Globe is an open-air theatre, so tours go ahead in all conditions and visitors should dress for the weather.
