About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is a guided visit of the theatre and the Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour exhibition space. It offers a clear look at Shakespeare’s London, the stagecraft behind the Globe and more than 400 years of history.

In the walk-through exhibition space, you can explore seasonally curated displays and try interactive costumes and props. The tour also takes you into the Globe Theatre itself, where expert guides explain the story of the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its rebuilding in the 1990s.

All tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages, and the venue is open-air, so tours take place in all conditions.

Key facts: Duration is approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
