Artists for Gaza fundraiser for Health Workers for Palestine

As many might be aware, my 21-year-old son was stabbed to death on April 7th, but I’m still going on with the planned Artists for Gaza fundraiser for Health Workers for Palestine in his honour, as he felt so deeply about the cause and would have wanted me to carry on. Live on stage are most of Madness – Suggs, Barso, Bedders, and Thomo – who are joined by Paul Weller, Kevin Rowland, Clive Langer, and Rev Max Ripple, as well as Roxy sax man Andy Mackay. Also performing are the acid jazz band Galliano, Simon Bartholomew of the Brand New Heavies, along with DJs Jerry Dammers, Bobby Gillespie and four-time world mix champion DJ Prime Cuts, with breakdancers. Other DJs include Leo Zero, Lascelles, Femi Fem, Paul Smier Anderson, Adrian Jae, Dean Thatcher, Natty Bo etc., plus a reggae room with London’s finest selectors, as well as a Northern Soul spectacular and lots more to be announced…
