Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre brings one of Britain’s best-loved characters to the stage in a new production with songs, choreography and the familiar marmalade sandwiches. Based on the characters from Michael Bond’s books and the award-winning films, it follows Paddington’s arrival in London, his meeting with the Brown family and the challenges they face when his life is suddenly in peril.

Directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale, the show combines the world of Windsor Gardens with the realities of life beneath the surface. It is a stage adaptation built around Paddington’s search for a home and the Browns’ decision about how far they are willing to go for him.

The production is set at the Savoy Theatre in London and features a principal cast including Timi Akinyosade, Amy Booth-Steel, Tarinn Callender, Delilah Bennett-Cardy, Adrian Der Gregorian, Tom Edden, Brenda Edwards, Amy Ellen Richardson, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Teddy Kempner and Bonnie Langford.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes. Age guidance: recommended for ages 6 and up; guests aged 4 to 104 are welcome, but babes in arms are not permitted.

There are BSL performances on Sunday 20th September 2026 at 2pm and Sunday 14th March 2027 at 2pm. Audio described performances take place on Sunday 26th April 2026 at 2pm, Sunday 13th September 2026 at 2pm and Sunday 7th March 2027 at 2pm. Relaxed performances are on Friday 5th June 2026 at 6pm, Friday 11th September 2026 at 6pm and Friday 7th May 2027 at 7pm.
