Dreadful - the worst I've ever had.  Let's start with he door policy - rude and disorganised.  Having paid £55 for two tickets we arrive to be told 'we're over capacity and the doors are now closed.... nothing we can do about it love...'
 
Pure unadulterated bullshit from event organisers - whose title contravenes the trades descriptions act - and clearly indicates that they have oversold tickets and now plan to rip off a large percentage of their customers.
 
I explained this in a few choice words and we were let in but I overheard many others at the door with the same complaint who got nowhere.
 
Once through the doors more rudeness from the next set of bouncers, bad manners and ill temper for doorpeople and other saff trying to shove us around. Can hear the music sounds crap, find the atmosphere dreadful, decide I'm really not up for this bullshit and have no intention of funnelling any more of my time and money on this event and make a quick exit.
 
Firin Squad, I see you biggin up the event on Facebook... think you should check out some of these comments.

Yeh I understand what your saying people from skiddle, you have no control of what happens at the club, you just sell tickets which is fair enough..just frustrating..! I hope I do use skiddle again because to be fair to get the tickets were probably the easiest thing of the night! Had no problem what so ever.! Any its done now,bring on 2010..HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I completely agree with the reviews of others.

Queued 45 minutes to get in despite having tickets,

The DJ was Terrible in the main room and shouted and talked his way through every song which was infuriating... Probably best as dancing was virtually impossible due to the amount of people.
Far too many people were let into the club and I think it was a massive health and safety risk.

Prices were rediculous, as to be expected I Suppose, however when Paying £25 for a ticket, charging £6 for a single is in my oppinion a joke. My first round of 6 drinks cost £60!

We left the club at around 1.30 as we couldnt stomach anymore and still had to queue for an hour for the cloakroom!

Im sorry you feel like that about Skiddle. We however did not organise the event, or run the door at all.

Hundreds of promoters across the UK use our website to promote their events and sell tickets. Tickets are sold on the basis that they guarentee entry to the venue, and yes in a lot of instances this would get you in quicker.

It sounds from both posts that the event was short staffed and disorganised, something that we have no control over - Skiddles role is to sell and deliver a ticket, something which I believe you received with no problem at all, which Is why I encourage you to use our site again to find a more organised and enjoyable night in London.

Like the comments made in the previous post, I found the queue length & wait time completely unacceptable. I\'m not sure what the maximum capacity for the Cafe is, but there just seemed to be too many people or not enough stairwells or bars. There was only ONE person manning the bar on the bottom floor. Madness! 

Even worse, the listed times were 2200 - 0400, we had already decided to leave at 0315 in order to avoid MORE queues & ensure we got our night bus on time, so imagine our shock & horror & 0300 when the lights went on! The queue for the cloakroom on the way out was horrendous to begin with, but was made 4 times worse not only by the idiots trying to push in/jump the queue, (we were queuing on stairs!) but also the testosterone and/or liquor fueled idiots that decided to start a brawl (also on the stairs) These idiots included members of the security team, who quite frankly should have known better, people could have been seriously hurt by flying glass, fists etc. Security did not seem too bothered about the crowd of people uninvolved in the brawl that were directly in the line of fire. 
Summary: If Jesus Christ himself came back & pitched up at the Rainforest Cafe, I probably would still refuse to set foot back in there.

Should have stayed indoors!

Never in my life am I going to use skiddle again, I thought we might have a slight priority since we pre-booked our tickets but nope, ended up cuein for almost an hour, wasn't even in the venue at midnight, was so poor! Never again...if any1 actually reads this..save yourself the trouble and money! We had a evenly mixed group it don't help! Avoid at all costs! OMD I cnt believe hw s**t it was!
