The Book Of Mormon

About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is playing at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London. This musical, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, follows two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda, where they are met by harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord.

Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, the show uses comedy, song and dance to explore Mormon dogma, consumerism and religion. The score is by Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez.

The production is described as rude, potentially offensive and unexpectedly endearing, with a style that mixes sharp humour and musical theatre throughout.

Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval. Awards: Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical.
