The Book Of Mormon

About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is a musical by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators behind South Park. It won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda.

The show follows their attempts to win baptisms and conversions after arriving in a very different reality from the one they expected. It combines sharp comedy with music by Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez, and its story moves between religion, consumerism and culture.

Described as rude, potentially offensive and unexpectedly endearing, The Book of Mormon remains one of the West End’s best-known musical comedies. It has been praised for its humour and its fast-paced storytelling.

Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval.
